All About Ms. Daily
Hello Everyone!!
I am beyond excited to share this year with each and every one of you. We have an amazing and diverse group of kids!
I’d like to share a bit about myself, so you may know who is working with your kiddos this year.
My favorite pastime activities include traveling, reading , mountain biking ( a new pleasure introduced to me by my partner), and hanging with my boys!! Upon graduating, I decided to explore the globe with one of my sisters. I was fortunate to experience a plethora of what our world has to offer, bringing back with me an understanding that we are all one, while celebrating our vast differences. I've spent time visiting: Asia, South America, and Europe. There is nothing like experiencing and learning from other cultures.
We are not alone!!
Before entering the public classroom, I worked as a private tutor for kids aged five-15 for 12 years. This included gifted and talented individuals, as well as those that were released from the public school system for various hardships, and all who fell in-between. These experiences reiterated my desire to influence tomorrow's future adults. I want our kids to feel that there is nothing outside of their reach IF they are willing to work for it.
I would describe myself as a “flexible” educator, constantly striving to differentiate my practices to meet, not only the standards, but beyond. No child / situation is alike, therefore, no single strategy will accommodate the masses. I believe that being an educator is not a “solid” practice, but rather requires a “liquid” persona, willing to take-on the shape of that which we encounter.
I know you all work hard and have very busy lives, but it takes a village, yes? Please feel free to contact me through my email: [email protected] with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have.
Thank you for being there for your kids, and our community as a whole. Together we will build Happy Campers, today, tomorrow, and for the foreseeable future!
Truly,
Carly Daily
